The Recesky TLR is a “do-it-yourself” DIY or build it yourself camera. Not only that, it is a Twin Lens Camera – meaning that there is two lenses of the same focal length. One lens acts as the photographic lens (it takes the picture), whilst the other lens acts as the viewfinder lens (lets you see the picture).

Building the Recesky TLR is not as hard as it first appears – but it sure is great fun! Recesky camera is actually a replica version for the famous Gakkenflex camera. So it has the exactly specifications and characteristics as the twin. The fixed f-stop is f/11 and the single shutter speed is 1/125. The camera uses standard 35mm film cassettes and exposes a 24mm x 36mm frame in portrait orientation. The lens is a single element plastic meniscus lens. Focusing of the taking and viewing lenses is synchronized by external gears, in the same way as the geared lens Ricohflex.

The first thing you notice when you look at the package the Recesky comes in is that it says assembly time is 1 hours. Without experience, the task may take from anywhere between 1 – 3 hours taking into consideration the time that’s needed to absorb all the information required in piecing together every step!

* this camera is in good working condition. its also has great cosmetic. packages include 1 roll of film and film case for 3. this camera is suitable for people who want to involve in film photography and lomography at beginner level. its a good start and worth the money.

The Smena-7 is the third in a series of Smenas that have a plastic body rather than bakelite, starting with the Smena-5 in 1961. The new body style of the Smena was redesigned by I. Shapiro, also the designer of the Leningrad camera during the 1950s. Also known as Cosmic 35. This camera is fully manual so doesn't worry about battery. With the triplet lens, you will get a saturated picture and also some crazy cool light leaks.

*this camera has been tested. awesome cosmetic condition and mechanism works really great. really worth buying. a great camera for beginner who really passionate on film photography. a great combo with BLIK rangefinder & light meter.
